LYW Episode 24, Oct 3, 2024: Wooden Boat Festival

Dan Tucker • October 4, 2024

Special Edition:
Wooden Boat Festival - Port Townsend

The Wooden Boat Festival began in 1978, with around 2,000 people gathering to celebrate the maritime trades and wooden vessels in the first nationally-recognized wooden boat festival.

Dan goes to the festival every year, and this year took along a set of microphones to get some snapshots from around the festival of key participants and some of the cool stories.

If you missed this year's Wooden Boat Festival, stay tuned for next year, Sept. 5-7, 2025 and come see one of the Northwest's most unique festivals!
